An exquisitely carved Fariniere or flour box from Provence. Decorated with carved fish and flower swags, this fariniere features a lower inset panel with swags and tassels and a pierced top. Made from walnut, with blind dovetail construction. Circa 1780-1800 Dimensions are16 1/2 H 8 1/2 W 4 1/2”D
