French Longwy Cloisonné Enamel Ceramic Bowl

A French Art Deco Longwy large ceramic centerpiece bowl, hand-painted in the style of Chinoiserie cloisonné enamel. Dark cobalt blue ground with a colorful central floral bouquet in, pink, orange, magenta, green and blue. Decorative border accented with a gold rim. The underside is pale turquoise blue with craquelure and has a wire for displaying on the wall. Repaired chip on the rim with minor loss to enamel. Decor by Maurice Paul Chevallier who designed for Longwy from 1925-1972. Makers mark on bottom. Circa 1951-1962. Shipping: $80
