French Majolica apple plate, c.1870-1880. 8.25" diameter x 2.25" from the Fives Lille factory. The Faïencerie Fives Lille was founded c. 1862 by Antoine Gustave De Bruyn (1838-1916) who came from a long line of Belgian potters and settled in Lille, France.
