19th Century French Mahogany Cabinet with Shelves
19th Century French Mahogany Cabinet with Shelves
$5,000.00
A 19th century French display cabinet from a chocolate shop. Made of solid mahogany with barley twist columns, a mirrored back and three shelves with brass supports. Cabinet with working lock and key opens to one shelf. The mirror is old with nice silvered patina and is as found, but may not be original to the piece. The three shelves are of graduating depth (6.25”, 7.5”, 8.5”) and are expertly fitted to the molding of the mirror frame. Excellent craftsmanship. A versatile piece, the shelves may by removed for use as a hall mirror. Circa 1860-1880. 71.25"H x 25.25"W x 14"D
