A splendid 19th century French comtoise grandfather clock, distinguished by its beautifully painted pine case and elegant brass pendulum, showcases exquisite craftsmanship typical of the era. This remarkable timepiece features a reliable seven-day Morbier movement, which has been meticulously professionally cleaned, and it operates well. The new enamel clock face is expertly signed by the clockmaker E. Delor from Bort, located in South Central France. Both the brass clock surround and the pendulum are adorned with a charming urn of flowers, featuring delicate hand-painted designs in soft shades of pink, blue, and white, enhancing its overall aesthetic appeal. Top glass pane replaced. Circa 1880-1900
