An early 19th century French commode made of solid walnut with an arbalète, or crossbow front and serpentine sides. Two deep dovetailed drawers with original bronze hardware. Locks are present, but no keys. Unusual short cabriole legs with carved claw feet. Restoration on front right leg and bottom of drawers. Pine as a secondary wood. Circa 1820-1840.
