An early 19th century Louis XVI style tall cabinet made of solid mahogany with a thick Rouge Royal marble top. Door with cast brass escutcheon and new lock opens to and interior with five removable adjustable shelves. Oak as a secondary wood. Good craftsmanship with dovetailed construction. This unusual cabinet with tall slim proportions, may be used as a pedestal to display a statue or as a plant stand. Perfect for a small entryway or hallway with a mirror or painting hung above. Circa 1900-1920.
