A 19th century French oval wine tasting, or tilt-top table made of walnut. The top is made from three planks of solid walnut, one 24" wide and two smaller planks. Beautiful grain and character to the wood. Well-crafted with mortise and tenon joints and pegged construction. This table is a good height for use as a dining table and seats four to six. Dining chairs sold separately, please see other listings. Good restored condition with waxed finish. Circa 1840-1860.
