A suite of six porcelain plaques by French artist and illustrator Jean Gradassi (1907 - 1989) entitled "Vie, Coutumes & Moeurs dans les Châteaux de France 1400 à 1650" (Life, Customs and Manners in the Castles of France). Beautiful architectural renderings, colorful and finely detailed with decorative borders and gilt accents. In a Renaissance-style tooled leather box with a crest bearing the arms of the Medici family in the center. This collectors edition, numbered 333, comes with the original certificate of authenticity and booklet written by André Castelot. Circa 1960-1980. Each plate measures 9" x 12" and has a metal ring on the back for hanging. The box measures 15.5"W x 13"D x 10.25"H. Minor wear to box. Overall weight: 31 lbs. Shipping: $200
